The Right Questions to Ask Your Pet Sitter

A pet sitter is your dog or cat’s best friend when you are away.  There is a good chance that with the right type of pet sitter, your pet will actually have a good time and can be comfortable while you are away.  Before you hire a pet sitter to care for your pet, it is important to know what type of license they have, their qualifications and their experience in the field of pet sitting.  There are plenty of pet sitters around today and each will charge different amounts of money for their time.  All this depends on what type of service you want and the kind of pet sitter you require.  There are quite a few factors which should be considered and questions you should ask before you decide to hire a pet sitter.
1.  What services do you offer?  Ask the pet sitter what pet sitting services they offer and make sure that the services offered will suit your pet.  Most pet owners want the pet sitting services to be inclusive and keep their pet completely comfortable while they are gone.
2.  How much experience do you have?  Another important question relates to experience.  You want the pet sitter to have enough experience so that you feel good about leaving them alone with your pets and know that your pets will be cared for completely.
3.  Do you have first aid training for pets?  Make sure that your pet sitter has the right first aid training for pets.  This is good for all pet sitters to have just in case an emergency should arise while you are away.
Now that you know which questions to ask, you are ready to choose the best pet sitter out there to care for your faithful companion.
